YOU CAN BE SAVED – AND KNOW IT.

—“Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
Acts 16: 30-31

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
John 3: 36
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
I John 5: 13

 

There Are Four Things You Must Know:

1 ALL HAVE SINNED
 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.”
Romans 3: 10
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3: 23
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all.”
Isaiah 53: 6
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
“If we say that we have not sinned, we make him (God) a liar, and his word is not in us.”I
John 1: 8, 10

 

 2 THE PENALTY FOR SIN IS DEATH AND HELL 

 “Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”
Romans 5: 12

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6: 23

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Revelation 21: 8
“And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…”
Luke 16: 23

 

 3 JESUS DIED TO PAY FOR OUR SINS

 

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3: 16 

“But God commendeth (proved) his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 5: 8. 9 

“For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
II Corinthians 5: 21

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.”
I Peter 3: 18

4 JESUS INVITES YOU TO BE SAVED TODAY

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
Revelation 3: 20

“He (Jesus) came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
John 1: 11-12

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”
I John 5: 11-12

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10: 9, 10, 13

 

 

NOW LET’S REVIEW

Dear Lord, I confess that I am a guilty sinner and that I need to be saved. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay my sin debt.

Please forgive my sins, come into my heart, and save my soul.

 

SOME IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

 

• Do any of us deserve to be saved?

• What did Jesus do for us on the cross?

• What did you just ask Jesus to do for you?

• According to Romans 10: 13, are you saved or lost?

• Where does a saved person go when he dies?

• Where would you go if you died today?

 THERE IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO FOR JESUS!

 

“For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”
Romans 10: 11

“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 10: 32
